About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Collections Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves managing overdue mortgage accounts and ensuring timely resolutions through effective communication and negotiation. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

As a Collections Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for following up on overdue accounts and working closely with customers to resolve outstanding payments. This position is onsite in Abu Dhabi and does not offer remote work options.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on allocated overdue mortgage accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Engage with customers to resolve account issues through effective communication.
  • Persuade and negotiate with customers to facilitate payment arrangements.
  • Document all interactions with customers to maintain accurate records.

  • Proven experience in collections or customer service roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills to resolve payment issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
