Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated HR Officer to provide comprehensive HR support aligned with our company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining up-to-date information on HR activities and processes to support our business unit in achieving strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer daily HR activities, offering support to staff regarding grievance procedures, disciplinary actions, and attendance management.
  • Assist staff with HR inquiries, issue formal letters upon request, and follow up on medical insurance claims to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Plan and conduct new employee induction programs and orientation sessions, ensuring new joiners are well-integrated into the organization.
  • Monitor new joiners’ progress throughout their probation period and provide necessary support.
  • Update the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with required employee data for transactional purposes.
  • Implement and adhere to HR procedures and processes set for the business unit.
  • Prepare high-quality correspondence and reports, ensuring timeliness and effectiveness.
  • Communicate instructions from the line manager to relevant individuals or departments and gather information as required.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for paperwork and documentation, ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field with HR certification.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR laws and policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Additional Information

This position is on-site in Dubai. Visa sponsorship is provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Assist staff by answering relevant HR enquiries, issue formal letters upon request, and follow up with medical insurance claims to ensure efficient and satisfactory service in line with HR policies and procedures.
  • Plan and undertake new employee induction programs as well as a proper orientation at all levels; subsequently follow up on new joiners’ progress during the probation period.
  • Perform other duties within the context of the job roles asked by the line manager.
  • Make sure that the human resources information system is updated with employees required data in order to be used for various activities or transactional purposes.
  • Implement and comply with procedures and processes set for the business unit.
  • Prepare correspondence ensuring timeliness, high quality and effectiveness.
  • Communicate line manager instructions or desires to relevant individuals and/or departments. Furnish and obtain information from other principals or departments as required by own senior. Prepare routine or special reports/ data and assist in compiling reports or data of a wider and complex nature.
  • Ensure the paperwork and documentation of relevant activities is filed and maintained systematically as per an approved filing system.
  • Maintain and emphasise trusted documents are conveyed confidentially.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
