Laundry Manager – 5-Star Hotel

About the Role

Join our prestigious 5-star hotel in Metro Manila as a Laundry Manager. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Laundry Department. You will work on a fixed schedule with 8-hour shifts. Night shifts may be required, and a night shift differential is available. Enjoy 13th-month pay and a meal allowance during your shifts. Transport is provided to ensure you arrive on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Laundry Department.
• Prepare the budget for the Director of Housekeeping.
• Control expenses through efficient use of supplies and labor.
• Train staff on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Ensure quality control for guest laundry and linens.
• Handle administrative work and provide cost reports.
• Conduct training programs for staff.
• Promote honesty and proper handling of Lost & Found items.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years in a managerial position in a five-star hotel.
• Preferably a college graduate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Technical knowledge of laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of P&L management.
