About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Accountant R2R to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on the Record to Report (R2R) process. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial software and ERP systems, particularly SAP. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Track and oversee the monthly closing of financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct a detailed review of key automotive accounts in the Trial Balance.
  • Support a robust R2R process by standardizing accounting tasks.
  • Prepare and submit precise monthly management reports for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate external audits of the automotive entity to ensure compliance.
  • Assist in preparing standalone financial statements for reporting purposes.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Possess at least 2 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Exhibit proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, especially SAP.
  • Show excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
