About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Cebu, Central Visayas. This role requires a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on the end-to-end purchase to pay process. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable activities across the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable activities across Asia Pacific, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
• Prepare account reconciliations for vendors and suppliers to maintain accurate records.
• Handle first-level escalations promptly to resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure correctness of employee expense claims against budget approvals.
• Conduct training sessions for specialists to enhance team capabilities.
• Attend meetings to resolve disputed invoices and maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Review and clean-up aging and debit balances report for financial accuracy.
• Standardize AP processes with automation and AI to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any related accounting course.
• Experience in multiple countries for at least 2-4 years in finance roles.
• Finance experience of 2-4 years with a focus on accounts payable.
• Project management experience of 2-3 years to lead initiatives effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.
• Effective communication skills in English to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
