About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Manager - FP&R to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is vital for overseeing financial planning and reporting within the aluminium manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and team management. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the consolidation and reporting of financial data to ensure accuracy.
  • Supervise the rollout of functional policies and procedures across the team.
  • Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Oversee the development of the Business Planning and Controlling system.
  • Review annual plans and budgets to align with company goals.
  • Track financial performance against budgets and report findings.
  • Ensure fixed asset reconciliation and assess for impairment.
  • Prepare management reports that reflect overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for effective collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the manufacturing, metal, or mining industry is preferred.
  • Strong team management and relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial policies and procedures.
  • Ability to interact with diverse groups and stakeholders.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
