About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Assistant Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will oversee daily transport operations for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). You will work closely with carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure efficient shipment planning. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily transport tasks for FMCG products.
  • Coordinate with carriers and 3PLs for shipment planning.
  • Create optimized shipment plans in the ERP system.
  • Ensure timely delivery by liaising with drivers and warehouse teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and deliveries.
  • Support following safety rules and quality standards.
  • Track transport costs and analyze KPIs for reports.

Requirements

  • Hold a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field.
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in logistics or a related area.
  • Possess strong communication skills for effective talks.
  • Be proficient in MS Office and fleet management software.
  • Have knowledge of export and import processes.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
