About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team in Dubai. This role involves providing legal support for our quick commerce site expansion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate and construction law. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus. This position is not remote; you will work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Lead legal support for quick commerce site expansion projects.
  • Manage high-volume site acquisition pipelines effectively.
  • Negotiate and draft real estate agreements with stakeholders.
  • Advise on construction and fit-out contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Support adherence to local regulatory requirements and rules.
  • Manage landlord disputes and lease terminations efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel for specialized legal matters.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks in ongoing projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in legal processes and workflows.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
