About the Role

As a Mid-Level FinOps Partner based in the UAE, you will play a crucial role in ensuring financial operations align with our business goals. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records and support decision-making processes. This position requires a strong digital mindset and effective communication skills, as you will collaborate with various departments to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate job-level cost and revenue updates to support financial planning.
  • Ensure operational financial KPIs are met through diligent tracking and reporting.
  • Take ownership of accurate job costing to enhance profitability.
  • Maintain an internal tracker for FINOPS job numbers to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate across departments for smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and insights.
  • Execute strategic and operational tasks to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor performance against defined KPIs to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance overall workflow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a customer-facing finance and accounting role.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data for informed business decisions.
  • Strong digital mindset to adapt to evolving financial technologies.
  • Effective communication skills to facilitate collaboration.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of shipping and freight forwarding is advantageous.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
