About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Tax Specialist to join our team in Santa Rosa, CALABARZON. This is an onsite position that requires a strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in accountancy and be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). You will play a crucial role in ensuring tax compliance and providing guidance on tax-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare supporting schedules and e-file tax returns accurately.
  • Maintain accurate tax records to ensure compliance.
  • Review tax accounts and prepare necessary entries for reporting.
  • Monitor tax reconciling items to ensure accuracy.
  • Review issuance of BIR Forms 2307 and 2306 for compliance.
  • Assist with evaluations of tax impacts on business decisions.
  • Handle tax-related queries from management effectively.
  • Provide guidance on current tax regulations and compliance.
  • Coordinate the renewal of business permits as required.
  • Assist during BIR/BOC examinations and annual audits.

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy with a strong academic background.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with valid credentials.
  • Experience as a tax accountant or auditor in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws and compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications for reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork.

Statutory benefits (Philippines)

  • 13th-month pay

    Mandatory under PD 851: equivalent to one month's basic salary, paid no later than 24 December each year.
