About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Intern to join our team in Dubai. This is an on-site position that offers a great opportunity for university students or those with relevant skills. Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily purchasing tasks to support the procurement team.
  • Create and follow up on purchase orders (PO) to ensure timely processing.
  • Support the receiving process for goods and services to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Process MIGO entries in the system to keep records updated.
  • Follow up on supplier invoices and pending payments to ensure timely settlements.
  • Support supplier creation and collect required documents for onboarding.
  • Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track shipment status and follow up for timely delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Keep records and files updated for easy access and reference.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • Help resolve issues related to orders, receipts, or payments to maintain workflow.

Requirements

  • University student or individual with relevant skills in Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Office tools for daily tasks.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and suppliers.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
