Responsibilities

  • Answer inquiries about room rates and hotel locations to assist guests in making informed decisions.
  • Handle reservation requests efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Post advance deposits and maintain accurate records for all reservations.
  • Process rooming lists and group blocks to streamline guest check-in.
  • File and process reservations correspondence to keep records organized.
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure availability of rooms.
  • Explain guarantee and cancellation policies clearly to guests.
  • Use sales techniques to assist guests in selecting suitable accommodations.
  • Identify guest reservation needs to provide tailored service.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • High School graduate with a focus on hospitality preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Knowledge of hotel services and reservation systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests.
  • Problem-solving abilities to address guest inquiries effectively.
  • Experience with Opera or similar systems is advantageous.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
