About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Expert to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in finance and accounting. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and a professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA. This position is not remote; you will work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial and management reports to support decision-making.
  • Track budgets, expenditures, and financial commitments to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing tasks to ensure timely reporting.
  • Develop and improve financial policies and procedures for better efficiency.
  • Prepare financial memoranda and analytical reports for stakeholders.
  • Support financial planning and risk management activities to enhance stability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
