About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist II to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This role requires a strong background in data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning. You will work on hyper-personalization use cases across various sectors, including Food, Quik, and Shops. Your expertise will help design systems that learn user intent and preferences in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Own hyper-personalization use cases across Food, Quik, and Shops.
• Design systems that learn user intent and preferences in real-time.
• Evaluate and build knowledge graph pipelines for candidate generation and ranking.
• Design transformer-based architectures for recommendation systems.
• Push toward online/streaming learning systems that adapt to user behavior.
• Identify shared personalization signals across verticals.
• Drive exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and build behavioral models.
• Implement scalable machine learning algorithms for large-scale data.
• Run exploratory data analysis to discover growth areas.
• Define and track key metrics for personalization initiatives.
• Design and run A/B tests, analyze results, and communicate findings.

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in data mining and machine learning.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Solid experience with deep learning and transformer architectures.
• 2-4 years of industry experience in personalization or recommendation.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Big Data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik.
• Understanding of knowledge graphs and graph neural networks.
