Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate activities of operational teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Track flight status and identify potential disruptions to minimize delays.
  • Implement contingency plans to improve operational efficiency during disruptions.
  • Manage flight schedules and operational tasks to meet service standards.
  • Engage with IOCC management and other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Lead emergency and incident responses to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Record operational incidents and decisions for future reference and analysis.
  • Guide and coach team members to enhance their performance and skills.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in aerospace, engineering, aviation operations, or a related field.
  • Have over 10 years of experience in airline operations.
  • Possess at least 3 years in a management role within a multi-hub environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency response protocols and crisis management.
  • Understand meteorological principles and navigational systems.
  • Show proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of aviation rules and communication protocols.
  • Be familiar with global geography and airspace structures.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
