About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Airport Duty Officer to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. This on-site role requires a dedicated professional with extensive experience in airside operations management. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with GCAA rules and maintain safety standards across all airside activities. This position does not offer remote work and is open to candidates who can communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track airside facilities to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Audit airside activities to identify and address potential issues.
  • Conduct movement area inspections to maintain operational standards.
  • Provide follow-me services to aircraft and vehicles for safe navigation.
  • Conduct aircraft turnaround audits to ensure timely operations.
  • Facilitate work services in the airside to support operational efficiency.
  • Enforce safety rules in the airside to protect personnel and assets.
  • Maintain surveillance on all airside movements to prevent incidents.
  • Initiate emergency actions as necessary to respond to incidents.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations of accidents and incidents.
  • Manage wildlife and obstacles to ensure safe airside operations.

Requirements

  • Graduation in a relevant field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in airside operations oversight.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective teamwork.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
