Job Summary

• The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring income and expenses, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring proper financial controls within the diagnostic center.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions and accounting records.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income and expenditure reports.
• Reconcile cash, bank, POS, and other payment records.
• Monitor payments received from patients, corporate clients, HMOs, and other sources.
• Track outstanding invoices and follow up on receivables.
• Process and document expenses, purchases, and supplier payments.
• Maintain proper records of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Prepare payroll information and assist with salary payments.
• Monitor the diagnostic center's budget and identify unusual expenses or variances.
• Maintain proper records of medical supplies, consumables, and other inventory-related costs.
• Assist with tax, statutory, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and approved procedures.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, diagnostic services, or a similar environment.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Honesty, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential.
