Booking Officer / Sales Agent

Job Summary

• The Booking Officer / Sales Agent will act as a sales and reservations representative for Ìrọ̀rùn.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to enquiries, generating bookings, following up with prospective guests, promoting the company's accommodation and building relationships with potential clients and business partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to booking enquiries from WhatsApp, telephone, website, social media and booking platforms.
• Explain apartment options, rates, amenities and booking conditions to prospective guests.
• Follow up with prospective guests and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain accurate booking and customer records.
• Update the booking calendar and help prevent double bookings.
• Coordinate payment confirmation with the Finance and Accounts Officer.
• Communicate confirmed bookings to the Reception and Operations teams.
• Contact previous guests and prospective customers to generate repeat and new business.
• Promote apartment upgrades, longer stays and available packages.
• Attend events, exhibitions, networking sessions and social gatherings on behalf of the company.
• Represent and promote Ìrọ̀rùn professionally as a brand representative.
• Build relationships with event planners, travel agents, wedding planners, corporate organisations and other potential partners.
• Identify opportunities to generate new bookings and business relationships.
• Support the company's sales and booking targets.

Requirements

• OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous experience in sales, hospitality, travel, reservations or customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outgoing and confident personality.
• Comfortable approaching and engaging potential customers.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of WhatsApp and email.
• Ability to work with spreadsheets and booking platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to attend events and networking activities.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside normal office hours.

Salary

• N100,000 Monthly Base + Additional Earnings up to N400,000.
• Maximum Potential Monthly Pay: N500,000.
