Role Summary

• The Marketing Executive / Business Development Agent will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic partnerships and attracting corporate, group, event and long-stay bookings.
• The successful candidate will actively identify potential clients, build business relationships and follow up with prospects to secure bookings and create repeat business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify companies and individuals who require accommodation.
• Prospect for new clients through telephone calls, email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and physical visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with companies, travel agents, relocation firms, wedding planners and event planners.
• Arrange meetings, presentations and property inspections with prospective clients.
• Prepare approved proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
• Follow up consistently with prospects until bookings are secured.
• Attend exhibitions, business events and networking activities on behalf of the company.
• Promote corporate rates, long-stay options and group-booking packages.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads and follow-up activities.
• Work closely with the Booking Officer to complete reservations.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and encourage repeat business.
• Provide management with feedback on competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Identify opportunities for new partnerships and business relationships.

Requirements

• OND, HND or Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in sales, business development or marketing.
• Strong communication, networking and negotiation skills.
• Confident, outgoing and persuasive personality.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong follow-up and business development skills.
• Willingness to conduct field visits and attend business events.
• Ability to communicate professionally through telephone, email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn.
• Existing corporate or travel-industry relationships will be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate should be proactive, target-oriented and comfortable approaching potential clients and organisations.
• The candidate should be able to identify business opportunities, initiate conversations, build relationships, negotiate professionally and consistently follow up until opportunities are converted into bookings.

Benefits

• Monthly Base Salary: ₦200,000
• Additional Earnings: Up to ₦300,000
