Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Reports to: General Manager
Direct Reports: Sales Executives (as assigned)

Main Function

• The Business Development Manager drives revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the hotel's corporate, government, and institutional client base.

Role Responsibilities
Business Growth:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, government, and event segments.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy.
• Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with prospective clients.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, travel agencies, and event organizers.
• Represent the hotel at business forums, exhibitions, and networking events.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team on joint initiatives and campaigns.

Reporting & Strategy:

• Track performance against revenue targets and business development KPIs.
• Provide regular reports and market insights to the General Manager.
• Recommend new revenue streams and partnership opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:

• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; an MBA is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-7 years' business development or sales experience, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
