The Role
- We are seeking astrong, experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record in FMCG, bakery/bread distribution, food distribution or related industries.
- The successful candidate will be responsible fordriving sales and revenue growth, expanding distribution channels, acquiring new customers/distributors, developing new markets and managing key business relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Management or a related discipline.
- 5 –10 years of strong, relevant professional experience in Business Development, Sales or Commercial Management.
- Experience in FMCG, bakery, bread distribution, food distribution, beverages or related consumer goods is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience specifically within bread / bakery distribution will be a significant advantage.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding aggressive sales and revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian FMCG market and distribution landscape.
- Proven experience managing distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key accounts
- Strong experience in FMCG, preferably bakery/bread distribution.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of distributors, wholesalers, retailers and general trade.
- Excellent negotiation, customer relationship and business development skills.
- Strong understanding of route-to-market and territory expansion.
- Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
- Highly target-driven, proactive and commercially minded.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
- Proximity to Lekki, Lagos is a key consideration.
Salary
N400,000 monthly – Negotiable Based on Experience plus HMO and other Benefits.
