Leap Microfinance is seeking motivated Business Development Officers to join their team in Abuja.

This role focuses on expanding the customer base by acquiring new clients and fostering strong business relationships. Successful candidates will have experience in banking or microfinance and a passion for driving sales growth. The position is full-time and based in the Mararaba, Nyanya, and Karu areas of Abuja. Candidates will work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery while meeting sales targets.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field
2-3 years of experience in a commercial bank, microfinance bank, or financial institution in sales or business development
Proven track record of meeting sales and business development targets
Strong skills in customer relationship management

Responsibilities

Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities
Promote Leap Microfinance's products and services to potential clients
Achieve and exceed monthly sales and growth targets
Build and maintain long-term client relationships
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality customer service
Maintain accurate customer records and submit regular sales reports
