Job Overview

• Our client is seeking to employ a results-driven Business Development Officer to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Support the execution of business development and revenue-growth strategies.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and identify emerging business opportunities.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations and client reports.
• Support strategic partnerships and client acquisition initiatives.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent client service and delivery.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a bank, fintech, investment banking, merchant banking, asset management, or related financial services organisation.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, relationship management or client acquisition.
• Good understanding of financial products and services.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong commercial awareness and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and meet business targets.
