Job Overview

• They are seeking to employ an experienced and commercially driven professional to join its leadership team as Head of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies that drive revenue growth and business expansion.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets and strategic partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors and business partners.
• Lead business acquisition, client engagement and relationship management initiatives.
• Develop and manage a high-performing business development team.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth within the financial services sector.
• Work closely with senior management to develop and implement commercial strategies.
• Track business development performance and deliver measurable results.

Key Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor's degree. A professional qualification or postgraduate degree will be an advantage.
• Prior professional experience in a bank, fintech, investment banking, merchant banking, asset management, or related financial services organisation.
• Proven track record in business development, client acquisition, strategic partnerships and revenue generation.
• Strong understanding of the financial services industry and its commercial landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective growth strategies.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
