• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 security tools including Defender suite, Purview, and Secure Score.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure security services such as Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Azure Policy.
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and common exploitation techniques.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application security concepts, including OWASP Top 10 and API security.
• Working knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL) for creating queries and analytics in Microsoft Sentinel is highly preferred.

• Continuously monitor security alerts and events using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Analyze logs and telemetry from Azure Monitor, Microsoft 365 Security Center, and retail applications to identify potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and escalate issues to the IT Manager as needed.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID policies including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Conduct user access reviews and enforce least-privilege principles across platforms.
• Enhance security posture of Azure and Microsoft 365 environments by applying security best practices and policies.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and perform vulnerability assessments.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent certification
