Executive Assistant to the Managing Director (MD)

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative, operational, and executive support to the MD, helping to manage schedules, communications, meetings, documentation, and follow-ups.
• The ideal candidate must be confident using technology and digital tools, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive & Administrative Support: Manage the MD’s calendar, appointments, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and day-to-day administrative needs.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as a key point of contact between the MD, staff, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
• Technology & Digital Tools: Use productivity and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, calendars, video conferencing platforms, cloud storage, task-management tools, and other digital solutions to improve efficiency.
• Meeting & Documentation Management: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and presentations, take accurate minutes, maintain records, and track action points to ensure timely completion.
• Research & Reporting: Conduct research, compile information, prepare reports, presentations, and briefing documents, and provide relevant insights to support the MD’s decision-making.
• Task & Project Follow-Up: Monitor assigned tasks and projects, follow up with relevant team members, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Secretarial Studies, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Secretary, or in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Highly tech-savvy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and familiarity with modern productivity and collaboration tools.
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong research, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and work with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and solution-driven.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced business environment.

Salary
N400,000 per month.
