Job Title: Front Office Personnel (Chinese Speaking)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate fluently with Chinese-speaking and English-speaking guests.
• Assist guests with reservations, room allocations, inquiries, and special requests.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and resolve issues or escalate them when necessary.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and online booking inquiries professionally.
• Process payments, maintain accurate billing records, and prepare daily cash reports.
• Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS).
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transportation, and hotel services.
• Assist with VIP guest arrivals and departures.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Uphold hotel policies, confidentiality, and service standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Languages, or a related field.
• Additional hospitality training or certifications will be an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel front office, customer service, or reception role.
• Previous experience in a 3-star, 4-star, or 5-star hotel is preferred.
• Experience working with Chinese guests or international hospitality environments is an added advantage.

Language Requirements:

• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to translate and communicate effectively between Chinese-speaking guests and hotel staff.
