Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Human Resources in implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- manage end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition processes, ensuring the timely sourcing, selection, and onboarding of high-calibre talent
- Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning support, job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding.
- Liaise with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and facilitate timely recruitment of qualified candidates.
- Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of the department and staff relating to employment, labour relations and employee relations;
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, selection panels, and candidate communications to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
- Continuous monitoring of job-related department’s objectives and KPIs relating to own task and department through statistical representation;
- Coordinate and assist in all training activities, maintain proper documentation and prepare reports;
- Administer compensation (including tax and pension payments), benefits and performance management systems, safety and recreation programs;
- Assist in identifying staff vacancies, process position request, interview and select candidates for position;
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with organizational policies and applicable labour laws.
- Monitor, advise and review workplace practices to ensure compliance with SOP’s/policies and provide recommendations for improvement to management;
- Manage staffing controls such as refereeing disputes and disciplinary processes;
- Supervise, control and maintain inventory for department and other business units in supply of stationery, water, refreshments and other general support supplies for different divisions.
- Carry out executive assistance tasks which includes minutes taking, appointments, travel arrangements, protocol management, booking of meeting/board room, typing services and filing;
- Coordinate junior HR and Administrative staff;
- Ensure strict compliance to HR policies and immediately report non-conformances to minimize the company’s risk;
- Prepare monthly recruitment reports and maintain accurate recruitment records, databases, and recruitment metrics.
- Gathers and records statistical information for reporting purposes;
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant degree.
- Professional Certifications in Human Resources and Personnel Management.
- NYSC Certificate or exemption letter.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a human resource role with a large national/multi-national organization.
- Experience of a highly paced business environment delivering successful human resource support.
- Experience of dealing with difficult situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.
