Job Summary
- We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across our warehousing and distribution network.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock records, maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize losses, and implement effective inventory control processes to support efficient business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Oversee stock receiving, storage, transfers, and dispatch processes.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and stock losses.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records and prepare variance reports.
- Monitor inventory turnover and recommend strategies to improve stock movement.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory management.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions and compliance with company policies.
- Supervise and mentor inventory personnel to improve team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory management within a warehousing, logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution company.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
- Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
