Role Summary
- The Partnerships & Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and supporting business opportunities, building relationships with potential partners, and contributing to the growth and visibility of the institute.
- The role supports partnership development, outreach, client engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential partners, corporate clients, schools, universities, NGOs, government agencies, professional organizations, and other relevant institutions.
- Conduct outreach to prospective partners and introduce the institute’s programs and services.
- Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships.
- Assist in preparing partnership proposals, presentations, quotations, and other business development materials.
- Follow up on partnership leads, inquiries, meetings, proposals, and prospective clients.
- Support the negotiation and implementation of partnership agreements and MOUs.
- Maintain accurate records of partners, prospects, business opportunities, and engagement activities.
- Assist in developing corporate training and institutional program opportunities.
- Represent the institute at networking events, conferences, career fairs, industry events, and other outreach activities.
- Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Marketing, Programs, Admissions, and Student Success teams on partnership-related activities.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, leads, partnerships, and outcomes.
- Maintain positive relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for continued engagement.
- Support initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment, corporate training opportunities, and institutional partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, customer relations, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong communication, networking, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to identify prospects and develop business opportunities.
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to prepare professional proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other teams.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
