Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Location: Lekki phase 1, Lagos

Work mode: Onsite (Monday -Saturday)

Summary

• In this role, you will drive overall business growth by leading sales efforts across both retail and corporate gifting , generating leads, securing new clients, and sending tailored proposals, particularly in the corporate and lifestyle gifting space.
• You will also oversee custom gifting services and collaborate across teams to expand market reach.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market reach.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key sectors including corporate gifting, events, hospitality, and high-end retail.
• Prepare and send business proposals, tailored pitches, and service decks to potential clients.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet individual and team KPIs.
• Build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective clients to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure product offerings and campaigns are aligned with client demands and market trends.
• Oversee the customization and personalization services for clients, ensuring high standards and brand alignment.
• Monitor key sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust tactics accordingly.
• Manage pricing strategy, sales forecasting, and budget planning in partnership with operations.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking engagements to build visibility and generate leads.

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
• 5–8 years’ experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in a gifting, retail, or lifestyle environment.
• Proven track record of generating leads, closing high-value deals, and achieving sales targets.
• Experience working with premium, custom, or personalized products is a strong advantage.

Required Skills:

• Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert leads.
• Exceptional proposal writing, client presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership, team management, and performance coaching abilities.
• Proficient in CRM tools, pipeline management, and digital sales platforms.
• Ability to create and deliver compelling sales materials and custom proposals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Creative thinking, especially in developing bespoke client solutions.
