Sales Attendant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and target-driven Sales Attendant to support daily sales activities and provide excellent customer service.
• The successful candidate will assist customers, promote products, process sales transactions, maintain the sales environment, and contribute to achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally, understand their needs, provide product information, recommend suitable products, and promote ongoing offers and promotions.
• Drive sales by actively engaging customers, promoting products, achieving assigned sales targets, and contributing to overall store performance.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately, maintain proper sales records, and ensure all transactions are handled in line with established procedures.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive sales area; ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, stocked, and report low-stock, damaged, or missing items promptly.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, support stock-taking and inventory activities, and work effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND / HND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or a similar role is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong selling and persuasion skills.
• Good numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Must be well-groomed, punctual, reliable, and hardworking.
