Sales & Distribution Managers

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales and distribution strategies for Ibadan, Kwara, and surrounding markets.
• Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, dealers, retailers, contractors, and other trade partners.
• Develop new markets and expand the company's customer and distribution network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and key customers.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor market activities.
• Promote and sell the company's building materials, home lighting, and home finishing products.
• Monitor competitors' products, pricing, promotions, market penetration, and distribution strategies.
• Negotiate with distributors, dealers, and major customers in line with approved company policies.
• Ensure adequate product availability and visibility across assigned territories.
• Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, payments, and outstanding accounts.
• Work closely with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
• Develop and maintain a database of distributors, dealers, contractors, retailers, and prospective customers.
• Gather market intelligence and provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for institutional, commercial, and project-based sales.
• Participate in product launches, exhibitions, trade shows, market activations, and promotional activities.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Prepare and submit periodic sales and distribution reports to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related discipline with 3 - 6 years relevant sales experience, preferably in building materials, home lighting, electrical products, interior décor, or home finishing materials.
• Proven experience in sales and distribution/channel management.
• Strong knowledge of the Ibadan and/or Kwara market and surrounding territories.
• Existing relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, contractors, or other trade customers will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Good understanding of market development and territory management.
• Ability to work independently and spend significant time in the field.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
• Must be target-driven, proactive, commercially minded, and results-oriented.

Salary
N500,000 monthly.
