About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Junior Host/Hostess in a casual dining setting in Dubai. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. You will work on a full-time basis, with shifts that may vary, including evenings and weekends. Enjoy a vibrant work environment where your interpersonal skills shine.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests at the restaurant with a friendly smile.
  • Seat guests according to their preferences and restaurant flow.
  • Set up the host/hostess stand and manage phone calls.
  • Maintain the station chart and cover count for accurate service.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in 5-star luxury hotels is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MICROS and OpenTable systems.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
