About the Role

Join our 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi as a Junior Rooms Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to start their career in hospitality. You will work onsite in a vibrant environment. Your main tasks will involve managing guest room assignments and ensuring a smooth check-in process.

The role offers a shift pattern that includes mornings, evenings, and weekends. You will receive meals during your shifts and tips from satisfied guests. We provide accommodation and transport to ensure you can focus on your work. A visa will also be sponsored for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences.
  • Pre-register guests and prepare key packets.
  • Organize check-in for arriving groups.
  • Confirm reservations and handle cancellations.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests.
  • Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of guest service.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
