About the Role

Join our team as a Demi-Chef de Partie in a fine dining restaurant located in Abu Dhabi. This role is onsite and requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar setting. You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring excellent food safety standards.

Your shift pattern will be 6 days a week, with 1 day off. You will receive a service charge, which adds to your earnings. Meals are provided during your shifts, and we offer accommodation and transport to ensure your comfort and convenience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare special meals and cold foods.
  • Regulate the temperature of cooking equipment.
  • Maintain food logs and track food quality.
  • Assist in hiring and training kitchen staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and security rules.
  • Communicate with service staff about menu items.
  • Maintain a clean and professional kitchen appearance.

Requirements

  • Technical or vocational school degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a busy kitchen environment with multiple orders.
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or higher).

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
