About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Command & Control Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing the operation of process plants and facilities in the oil and gas industry. Responsibilities

  • Operate and track process plants and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out assigned operational tasks safely to meet production goals.
  • Adjust and watch equipment parameters to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Prepare plant and equipment for maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Receive chemicals and keep accurate stock records for inventory management.
  • Operate machinery and equipment safely to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies to promote a safe workplace.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Act as an Auxiliary Firefighter or Site Safety Officer as required.
  • Prepare KPI commitment checklists to track performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Hold a Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate in a relevant field.
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in Plant Operations.
  • Possess knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills in operational settings.
  • Be fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
