About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Credit Controller to join our team in Dubai. This role involves overseeing the credit control process and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with various departments. This position is not remote; candidates must be available to work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the collection of outstanding payments to improve cash flow.
  • Track customer credit limits and payment terms to minimize risk.
  • Review and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts to secure payments promptly.
  • Prepare aging reports to analyze outstanding debts.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Support month-end closing activities to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, Reservations, and Finance teams to enhance processes.
  • Assist in reducing bad debt exposure through proactive measures.
  • Ensure following of internal controls to maintain compliance.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Credit Control or a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding of credit management and collection procedures.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Proactive and organized approach to managing tasks effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate payment discussions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Hospitality experience is beneficial but not required.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
