About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Sheet Metal Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. This role requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance engineering, with a focus on sheet metal work. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience. This position is on-site, and candidates must be prepared to work directly with aircraft structures.
As part of your role, you will perform critical maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft. Responsibilities
- Perform and certify aircraft structure maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) after thorough inspections.
- Review work instructions and maintenance schedules for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide technical guidance to technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Record maintenance actions and defect findings accurately for future reference.
- Ensure the availability of shop stock and tools to facilitate smooth operations.
- Enforce safety precautions and maintenance procedures to protect staff and equipment.
- Maintain communication with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to align on standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures to enhance performance.
Requirements

Statutory benefits (UAE)
Wage Protection System (WPS)
Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).
End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)
21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.
Annual leave
Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).
Sick leave
Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.
Health insurance
Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
