About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated First Officer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This on-site position requires a minimum of 4000 hours of flying experience, with a preference for those familiar with Airbus 320 aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess an ATPL License and demonstrate proficiency in both English and technical report writing. As a First Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while adhering to all operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assigned flights in compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
  • Ensure passenger comfort and flight efficiency throughout each journey.
  • Liaise with co-pilots and the Dispatch Team to prepare for flights.
  • Monitor fuel efficiency and report any discrepancies during flights.
  • Direct crew on safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers to address aircraft status and needs.
  • Ensure all necessary flight documents are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Hold an ATPL License and pass a medical fitness check-up.
  • Possess a minimum of 4000 hours of flying experience.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in aircraft systems and operating procedures.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with technical report writing and presentations.
  • Training in Basic Airport Security Procedures is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IATA principles and standards is a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
