About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Records Officer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. This on-site position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in data recording and maintenance scheduling. The ideal candidate will have experience with computerized fleet management systems and technical documentation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of aircraft records and supporting compliance with aviation regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Track and evaluate maintenance and inspection records for compliance.
  • Ensure accurate data recording in logbooks and computerized systems.
  • Coordinate technical queries from engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare aircraft records for re-deliveries to meet regulatory standards.
  • Generate monthly utilization reports for departments to aid decision-making.
  • Support Civil Aviation Authority approvals for airworthiness certificates.
  • Conduct analysis and produce reports for management to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Hold a higher diploma or certificate in Management or a related field.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with advanced Excel skills.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Training in compliance and document control is a plus.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Airbus A320 operations is beneficial.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
