Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for ground handling to improve efficiency.
- Conduct market research and spend analysis to find cost-saving options.
- Support new station launches and ensure readiness for smooth transitions.
- Lead sourcing and tendering to secure the best contracts.
- Drive cost savings and value improvements in procurement processes.
- Negotiate and finalize Ground Handling Agreements with key suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to secure airport incentives for the organization.
- Manage airport lease and rental agreements for compliance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of IATA Airport Handling and SGHA framework.
- Experience in contract management within the airlines industry.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
- Proficient in Oracle Fusion and eSourcing tools.
- Familiarity with CLM tools and MS Office applications.

Statutory benefits (UAE)
Wage Protection System (WPS)
Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).
End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)
21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.
Annual leave
Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).
Sick leave
Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.
Health insurance
Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
