About the Role

The Senior Category Manager will be based in Dubai. This role involves leading the strategy for the category to drive revenue and growth. You will oversee the local team and ensure operational excellence. Your understanding of the Kuwait market will be essential for success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of experience in leadership roles.
  • Proven success in driving revenue growth in a similar market.
  • Strong understanding of the Kuwait market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills for effective team management.
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial and financial skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and their needs.
  • MBA is a plus but not required.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
