Job Summary

• The Accountant is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing tax documents, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• They also provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
• Conduct financial analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary
