Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• The role will provide strategic financial insights to management, strengthen financial controls, manage financial risks, and drive process improvements and operational efficiency within the Finance & Accounts function.
• The role entails developing financial policies, managing budgets, overseeing audits, and ensuring compliance with financial standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial project planning, scheduling, and execution processes to ensure timely and accurate financial outcomes Manage and oversee daily operations of the finance and accounts department.
• Addressing complex financial challenges, making informed decisions, and mitigating risks to safeguard the company’s financial health.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and innovation to streamline financial operations and drive efficiency.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide strategic financial advice and insights to senior management.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Must be a qualified ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) member.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting, with proven managerial/supervisory experience.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit, compliance, and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Salary
