Description
- We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team.
- The successful candidate will support a broad range of human resource activities, including recruitment, employee administration, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, HR documentation, and general HR support.
- The role requires someone adaptable, responsive, and able to manage multiple HR responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- The successful candidate will work closely with management and other stakeholders to support effective people management and the consistent implementation of HR processes and practices.
The Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, HR databases, and other HR documentation.
- Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, CV screening, candidate assessments, interviews, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
- Liaise with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders to understand staffing requirements and support recruitment activities.
- Coordinate onboarding, induction, probation, confirmation, and exit processes.
- Prepare employment letters, HR correspondence, reports, trackers, and other HR documentation.
- Support day-to-day employee relations and respond to routine HR enquiries.
- Assist with leave, attendance, payroll inputs, and other employee administration.
- Support the implementation of performance management processes and maintain relevant documentation.
- Assist with employee engagement, welfare, training, and development initiatives.
- Support the preparation of HR reports and provide accurate information for management decision-making.
- Monitor employee documentation and HR processes to ensure they remain accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Assist with HR audits, compliance activities, and internal reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling employee and organizational information.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, templates, and overall employee experience.
- Stay informed about current HR practices, workplace trends, and developments relevant to the Nigerian employment environment.
- Provide general HR support across different assignments and priorities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' professional HR experience.
- Good understanding of general HR operations and the employee lifecycle.
- Practical experience in recruitment and candidate assessment.
- Experience in onboarding, employee administration, employee relations, performance management, or related HR functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, recruitment platforms, HR databases, and other digital HR tools.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with different stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving skills, discretion, and professional judgement.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 monthly.
