Overview

The SME Marketer position is crucial for identifying, acquiring, and managing Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients, aimed at expanding the bank’s loan portfolio and deposit base.

This role involves promoting the bank’s financial services, nurturing strong customer relationships, conducting thorough credit assessments, and ensuring timely repayment of loans. Compensation Salary: N300,000 gross monthly. Health Insurance. Employer Contributory Pension Plan. Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) customers within targeted markets.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with SME clients to foster loyalty and engagement.
Conduct thorough preliminary credit assessments and comprehensive business evaluations for SMEs.
Monitor SME loan portfolios to ensure quality, performance, and sustainability.
Ensure all customer onboarding processes adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
3-5 years of experience in SME banking, sales, or business development is essential.
Experience in microfinance or financial services is a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of SME business operations and credit analysis is crucial.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic financial analysis skills are required.

Good credit assessment and analytical capabilities
