About the Role

• We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to develop opportunities across microbiology, food safety, agricultural testing, and related laboratory applications.
• The candidate will work with laboratories, food manufacturers, quality-control teams, research institutions, and other organizations that depend on reliable microbiological and analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts across microbiology and agri-food testing
• Identify customer testing requirements
• Recommend appropriate laboratory solutions
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
• Develop and manage sales opportunities
• Prepare quotations and technical proposals (in coordination with the back-office team)
• Support product evaluations
• Build relationships with laboratory managers, microbiologists, QA/QC teams, and procurement personnel
• Monitor industry developments
• Identify new market opportunities
• Support customer training where required
• Coordinate with suppliers and technical partners
• Maintain CRM and opportunity records
• Achieve agreed commercial targets

Ideal Candidate

• B.Sc. / B.Tech /M.Sc. in Microbiology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline
• 2–5 years of relevant laboratory, technical-sales, or business-development experience preferred
• Understanding of microbiological testing
• Knowledge of food safety or agricultural testing is highly desirable
• Experience with laboratories, food manufacturers, or QA/QC environments is an advantage
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Commercially confident and target-oriented
