About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Commis Chef to join our culinary team on-site at Al Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for individuals with basic culinary knowledge who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Junior Commis Chef, you will assist in preparing high-quality dishes while adhering to our standards and recipes. This position does not require prior experience, making it perfect for those looking to start their culinary career.

Responsibilities

Fill in for absent chefs at different stations to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Ensure adherence to standard recipes and plating guides for consistent food quality.
Provide a daily market list to the Executive Sous Chef to maintain inventory.
Control the quality and quantity of received goods to meet kitchen standards.
Assist in proposing food promotions and events to enhance customer experience.
Maintain excellent talks with Outlet Supervisors for effective teamwork.
Control food wastage to optimize kitchen resources.
Recommend system changes for efficiency improvements in kitchen operations.
Maintain operational records and paperwork for compliance and tracking.
Attend training classes as scheduled to enhance culinary skills.
Maintain proper grooming standards to reflect professionalism.
