About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Sheet Metal Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. This role requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance engineering, with a focus on sheet metal work. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience. This position is on-site, and candidates must be prepared to work directly with aircraft structures.

As part of your role, you will perform critical maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft. Responsibilities

Perform and certify aircraft structure maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS) after thorough inspections.
Review work instructions and maintenance schedules for accuracy and completeness.
Provide technical guidance to technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Record maintenance actions and defect findings accurately for future reference.
Ensure the availability of shop stock and tools to facilitate smooth operations.
Enforce safety precautions and maintenance procedures to protect staff and equipment.
Maintain communication with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to align on standards.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures to enhance performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum five years of experience in aircraft maintenance roles.
At least two years in a certifying or supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge of aircraft structure maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting, inspection, and diagnostic skills.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with diverse teams.
Proficient in Maintenance & Engineering software systems.
OEM or equivalent certification for Sheet Metal parts is a plus.
